The Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences Basic and Advanced Phlebotomy Program provides 320 hours of training for individuals interested in becoming California Certified Phlebotomy Technicians I (CPT I). This program is designed to prepare students for the national certification exams and eventual certification from the State of California.
Admission requirements include being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or GED, passing an assessment test, and having a valid CPR card or e-card issued by the American Heart Association BLS. Phlebotomy Training Specialists
Phlebotomy Training Specialists offer various phlebotomy classes to suit individuals’ needs. These include an AM Class, PM Class, WKD Class and an ACC Class. The AM Class runs from 9am-1pm, Monday-Thursday for 3 weeks and the PM Class runs from 6pm-10pm also Monday-Thursday for 3 weeks. The WKD class runs 8am-4:30 pm on Saturdays for 5 weeks and the ACC class runs 8am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday for 1 week.
