SUNY Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center

The SUNY Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) offers a program with free phlebotomy training in NYC that prepares students for a career as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician. Medical Training Institute of New York

The Medical Training Institute of New York offers a Certified Phlebotomy Technician program to train individuals in the field of phlebotomy. This comprehensive program covers topics such as past and present aspects of phlebotomy, legal issues, medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, infection control, safety procedures, blood collection equipment, order of draw, venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures, non-blood specimen testing and handling, career development skills, management skills and certification exam preparation.
