AIMS Education College of Health Sciences

AIMD Education offers a phlebotomy technician program in a hybrid learning environment. Students received both in-person and online instruction. Candidates in the program will gain hands-on training from experienced phlebotomy instructors. Curriculum topics include infection control, quality procedures, venipuncture, blood collection equipment usage, test result recording, centrifugation and aliquoting, and specimen processing. Students will be qualified to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT) exam offered by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) upon course completion. The program is 80 hours in content time. There is both 1 month day and evening program as well as a 3 month weekend program. Financial aid is available for this program.
